    April 14, 2016

The ocean's waves soon recede back into the their primordial soup that spawned us all...conclude this greeting as you wish, or just get lost in its scenery...

Moral of the poetry: unburdened, spontaneously awesome days of summer await us!

    Here:

    HOMEWORK (third rotation)
    • Ortega: A polished draft of your iSearch paper's intro is due to turnitin.com by 8 AM this Saturday (and thus will conclude the work load for our first week of "timed" writing...then will commence the plethora of due dates for the next)
    • Piggott: worksheet (target problem set includes #3, #5, #6, #9, #10) quizzing our relationship with trig identities and their flexibility in proving a proof due first rotation next week

      • Rivas: brainstorm/execute your group-afililated board games to be (reflect on Rivas' colorful expo-written calendar for more specific milestones set to be conquered...below is that very art installment)

      • Holt: test retakes resume next week (ask him for the specific date/s)...so as to not encounter or repeat confusion, keep up to date with reading in your textbooks and with lab work and notes as they are dished out...do not be ambushed with fuzzy thoughts as we exit this year victorious

      • Senior Project: research check tomorrow...fourth interview and its reflection (Blog 21) due by tomorrow at 8 AM...verirication forms, with signatures of your interviewees, due physically tomorrow as well

      SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (third rotation)

      - Ortega: After a 20-minute SSR, we added assignment number #65 to our notebooks' anatomy through discussing the differences between a 'revision' and 'editing' - the prelude of sorts to the climax that is the revision -, STAR method, the struggle we writer's face in being married to our writing, and how the method (Substituting, Taking out, Adding if need be, and Rearranging) can be helpful in guiding us through the revision process our iSearch papers should endure - so as to be worthy of what we wish to say.  We then started analyzing the writing of our peers thus far through sending an example of one and its writer up to the front before a slew of comments that came soon after...

A still very important reminder for this week and for those relevant

      - Pigott: We reviewed life lessons/skills to keep in mind as we venture into the chaotic, yet navigable, world around us.  We then spent a small chunk of time going over a math example and getting our worksheets for our weekend's attention passed out.
        - Rivas:  We again had a buffet of free time recommended for board game brainstorming and, hopefully, execution (in the peaceful, productive sense).  We also finished up informally 'grading' each other's game rules, peer reviewing the ones we hadn't already.

        - Holt: "standby"

--> don't forget to keep up to date with emailed notes from ASB

        other reminders include:
        - scheduling your CSU test by APRIL 15  (TOMORROW) if you want a Cal-state school as an option and are not yet eligible for math/english courses there (as determined by EAP/SAT scores for those subjects)
        - PROM THEME IS (drum roll assumed): ROYAL BALL
GradNite tickets will be sold during this week...and after, no chances will be given to come...so hustle fi you want to come!
        - PROM tickets will be sold till April 20th - if you want to partake in a more ceremonial/traditional goodbye before leaving high school onto your future ambitions!
        - HUB house scheduled for this Wednesday from 11:30 AM till 12:38 PM
CAP and GOWN ORDERS MUST BE TURNED IN TO OFFICE BY TOMORROW: Order Form

        - Lone Wolf (Empire, as I am know in the wild lands)
