TODAY:

FIRST ROTATION

Holt:

• We went over the quiz in class and told the class on what we need to work on to get a better score. He also told the class that the project will be in groups of 4 and then let us work in class on it. 

Ortega:

• We did SSR and she took our page numbers. After this, she we go in our groups for the articles that she assigned and let us work as a group and prepare ourselves to share the articles to the whole class. She then asked a couple of question on the article when you presented and also talked about bringing in a prompt or question for next rotation on something like college application or scholarship questions. 

Piggott:

• We went over the notes that we took in class then talked about the division part of operation of complex numbers. Then we played an activity that helped us understand the operations.The game will then continue an other time so we noted the amount of points in the teams. He then passed out homework saying it was due next rotation. 

Rivas:

•  He passed out the study guide of his test to everyone and we went over it in class. He told us that the test is made that we start our opinion but we need to make sure that we support our opinion with the information that he taught us because this allows him to see what we think and at the say time be able to apply what we learned. After this he played the movie 12 Angry Men. 

SECOND ROTATION

Holt:

• We went took the quiz again and then after gave us time to work with our groups for the Martian project. 

Ortega:

• We did SSR and she took our page numbers. She then gave us time to go back to our article groups so the groups that didn't go get their information together to present. Finished up presentations and reminded us that notebooks were due next rotation and told us to bring in that prompt information also for next rotation. 

Piggott:

• We went over the homework in class and then he passed out another worksheet for us to work on in class. He walked around asked us to ask questions now so he can know exactly where we are with operations of complex numbers. 

Rivas:

•  He played the movie 12 Angry Men again so we can finish it. He then gave us free time to work on anything else when the movie was over.
