March 14, 2016

Just a gesture of empowerment to help you get through this week still too far from Spring Break

Welp, we have alas begun yet another week together, and as we trek hurriedly towards Friday, allow me to be your trustworthy tour guide.

So, let us move forth as a formidable legion and know places as though we knew them for the first time.

Newsroll:

HOMEWORK (first rotation)
  • Ortega: keep up to date with your tackling of Literary Analysis reading due per your now decided pace
  • Piggott: draw a sketch of a unit circle - complete with 16 ordered pairs and degree amounts - without using a reference so that you may prepare for the oral quiz on the circle's anatomy happening later this week; due next rotation
    • Rivas: brainstorm your group-afililated board games to be
    • Holt: test retakes tomorrow and Wednesday during our phantom fourth blocks! Many best wishes to you brave souls retaking this feral beastly existence
    • Senior Project: there may or may not be a research check this Friday TBA

    SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (first rotation)

    - Ortega: After a 20-minute SSR meditative reading, we discussed our 1984 essays submitted - graded over the weekend - and then went on to debrief over our LA novel-action in groups.

    - Pigott: We reviewed our introductory familiarization with the Unit Circle dished out last week, after which point we added knowledge to our rendering of how one should look like, placing meaningful metaphors/connections behind McDonald chicken nuggets and sign sauces
      - Rivas: Ms. Wonders allowed us the block to play - and hopefully analyze the inner workings of - board games of our choosing, taking notes as we strategized along our merry ways...in anticipation for when we would design our own more economically sound versions

      - Holt: We presented our rover experiments via powerpoints, after which Holt relayed boardgames-making skills

--> don't forget to keep up to date with emailed notes from ASB

      - Lone Wolf
