April 13, 2016

Alas, Holt had put to rest many a worry in offering another retake for the Centripetal quiz next week too...more time shall pass then for many a judgement day.

Till then, make your time worthwhile to you as best you can, in any way you can, and regain lost ground if need be...the end quickly nears...I think I feel the summer's ocean breeze...

A Flashback:

HOMEWORK (second rotation)
  • Ortega: turn in your introductory rough draft's digital copy to turnitin.com by 10 PM today...write peer reviews for a paper or two by this Wednesday at 11:59 PM...revisions will be due Thursday, and a polished draft is finally due to turnitin.com by 8 AM this Saturday (thus concludes the due dates for our first week of "timed" writing)

A more recent picture of the aforementioned equivalent...
  • Piggott: none...continue to add to your more active memory those introduced trig identities
    • Rivas: brainstorm/execute your group-afililated board games to be (reflect on Rivas' expo-written calendar for more specific milestones set to be crossed)
    • Holt: test retakes scheduled for tomorrow - study up! -...as an added layer to our communal cake, keep up to date with reading in your textbooks and with lab work and notes as they are dished out

    • Senior Project: research check this Friday...fourth interview and its reflection (Blog 21) due by this Friday at 8 AM

    SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (second rotation)

    - Ortega: After a 20-minute SSR, we added three assignments to our notebooks in preparation for our climatic rendezvous with iSearch papers.  We were then alotted a good chunk of time with which to work on our developing papers and their editing.  Handouts were handed out organizing our reflection upon senior project...handouts especially helpful in knowing how these papers will be graded and its anatomy laid out.

A still very important reminder for this week and for those relevant

    - Pigott: We reviewed yesterday's lesson and tackled (pounced if you really knew how to navigate your mathematical skill set) examples clarifying the matter.
      - Rivas:  Alas, once again, we had a buffet of free time recommended for board game brainstorming and, hopefully, execution (or, in the French spirit, guillotining).  As a task confronted, we ready each other's group's rules and peer reviewed them.

      - Holt:  So today, we went over some math with the equation he gave us first rotation; he then gave us a more challenging problem requiring use of the same equation.  Afterwards, Holt gave us the rest off the period to work on the Barbie Bungie Lab.  He finally called for groups to keep their own rubber bands to adequately continue the experiment for next rotation.

--> don't forget to keep up to date with emailed notes from ASB

      other reminders include:
      - scheduling your CSU test by APRIL 15 if you want a Cal-state school as an option and are not yet eligible for math/english courses there (as determined by EAP/SAT scores for those subjects)
      - PROM THEME IS (drum roll assumed): ROYAL BALL
GradNite tickets will be sold during this week...and after, no chances will be given to come...so hustle fi you want to come!
      - PROM tickets will be sold till April 20th - if you want to partake in a more ceremonial/traditional goodbye before leaving high school onto your future ambitions!
      - HUB house scheduled for this Wednesday from 11:30 AM till 12:38 PM
CAP and GOWN ORDERS MUST BE TURNED IN TO OFFICE BY FRIDAY: Order Form

      - Lone Wolf (or, as I have adopted as a possible alternative: Empire (Elf Vampire))
