At least we are halfway through the week!

Homework(all):

• Ortega: Pick three words depending on your group define them (in your own words) and locate them in the article. 
• Piggot: None!
• Rivas: Mock Trial is coming up very soon! Prepare your arguments, collect your research.
• Holt: A.W. & A.S. Interview, The Martian,Pgs 499-511 & 517-545 (In science textbook), Go to Physicsclassroom.com and complete lesson1 A&B for Static Electricity.
• Senior Project: Research check this Friday. Make sure you stay on top of your WB. Blog #5 due Friday 8am.

What We Did:(2nd Rotation)

• Ortega: Today in Ortega's class we filled out a worksheet called drills on rhetorical grammar. (surprise fire alarm drill )Once finished it was SSR for the remainder of the time. After SSR we reviewed the grammar worksheets and then took minor notes on grammar. Once the notes were done we got back into our groups that we worked on intelligence with.  We were then given an article called "hidden intellectualism". Where for homework we have to pick three words depending on our group define them and locate them in the article.
• Piggot: Today we took the mock test. Real test will be first rotation next week. Make sure you study your notes and know all the criterion.
• Rivas: Today in Riva's class we selected the Jurors. All the possible Jurors lined up against the wall while Mr. Rivas questioned them. Any Jurors eliminated by the Defense or Prosecution will be "fill ins".
• Holt: Today in Holt's class we took notes on "Electricity Formulas & Units". After we played a competitive game to test our new found knowledge! There is speculation of a test coming soon on this topic.

• If you want to count "Mock Trial" as an independent component here's what you have to do. First talk to your house teacher to explain what you will be doing. Log only hours outside of class. Show evidence of working at least 30 hours on it. Write a blog about it.
