Homework:
- Ortega- Do a goodreads review for extra credit. (Optional) Make sure you're keeping up on your notebooks. A#15 should be the most recent.
- Piggot- Math Worksheet on Factoring Binomials.
- Rivas-Work on Model Assembly. First rough draft of the bill is due this FRIDAY! This basically just an outline.
- Holt-Building or outside structure of the Hab is due TOMORROW! Suggested reading Pgs 531-547. Questions 1-10 go with this. Physics Classroom Current Electricity-Lessons 1-4.
- Senior Project- Research check #7 this Friday.First Notebook Check Due Wednesday, 10/21. During this check, you will be completing another research check. Make sure to bring all materials.Mentorship Interview due Friday, 10/30
What We Did:
- Ortega- (1st Rotation)SSR for usual time. After this we went over the ABC's of writing an essay when given a prompt. The steps are assess, brainstorm, choose order, and detect errors. We also looked at the EPT Rubric and graded some papers based on it. (2nd Rotation) SSR -Then we worked some more on timed writing with the essay prompt form yesterday.
- Piggot- (1st Rotation)Today we graded the quizzes we took last week. This took the entirety of class . (2nd Rotation) Went over the quizzes. We learned about Factoring Binomials, took various notes on this, then received a homework assignment.
- Rivas-(1st Rotation)Today we had the whole block to do research, and work on our bill. You should assign roles to divide the workload. Remember rough draft #1 is due this Friday. (2nd Rotation) Computer Lab for research! Rough Draft #1 is due FRIDAY!
- Holt-(1st Rotation) We started off the class by taking more notes on Current Electricity. Then we checked the circuit board homework assignment with an actual circuit board. So what we did was go one by one and test each of our answers. This is due TBD. When 30 minutes were left in class we had the option to work on our Hab. (2nd Rotation) We worked more on the circuit board worksheet. Then we received a lecture on resistance and took some notes. After Mr. Holt went around to see if we completed the Hab structure.
