WHAT WE DID:
  • Ortega:We started off with the usual SSR. Then we selected a passage from the book that we will creatively present to the class. We then created disc. questions for the passage, that will help the harkness for our selected passage from 1984. After we received a worksheet with questions about "The Book". (2nd Rotation) SSR, then Ms Ortega took down our vocab words. After from our discussion sections we made a 8x11 poster of said words with the definition, part of speech, and an example sentence. We also included a visual with our definition.
