"Up"-by Shania Twain



HOMEWORK:
  • Ortega: Disc. Questions for your selected passage. 
  • Piggott: None!
  • Rivas:Work on college data worksheet. (For EXTRA CREDIT due FRIDAY). Also source analysis #2. DUE TOMORROW!
  • Holt: Pg 43-85 Science Textbook. Finish up the lab worksheet if you didn't do so in class. Plus the new handout for the lab that was given to us, which will be graded.


WHAT WE DID:
  • Ortega: SSR, then we did a Harkness. Where each group read their passage and then prompted the Inner Circle with a question to further the discussion. 
  • Piggott:Mental Health Day!
  • Rivas:Work Block.
  • Holt:  We continued working on the friction lab, only know instead of using the little machine, we had to calculate force by hand using rulers. We received an additional worksheet to write our work on. Then Mr.Holt went around and checked to see if our rovers were functional.
SENIOR PROJECT:
  • Independent Component due February 5th.
  • Independent Component approval #2 February 11th.
  • Notebookcheck February 11th.
  • Interview #3 Due February 19th.
  • Keep up to date on research checks. RC #14 Friday.
  • Rivas will be giving out presentation dates for his AH Wednesday.
