TODAY:
FIRST ROTATION
Holt:
Holt:
- We reviewed Motion, Displacement vs Distance, speed vs velocity, and acceleration; notes were taken during class. Then, we went over a few practice problems and did the "strongest tennis ball thrower" activity outside. Finish up the worksheet he gave for extra practice.
- We got the book 1984 from Ortega and began to read it through. A conversation about the book was also taken into place during class.
Piggott:
- We went over the worksheet he handed before break. After that, we told us to work on the back side of it.
- We went over the Model Assembly results and winners. After that, we talked about the laws and impact of actually voting. Later, he brings up his new "carbon footprint" activity that he's expecting us to work on: draw your hand on a piece of paper and then write 5 things or words that have shaped who you are today - it could be an anonymous hand.
