HOMEWORK:
- Ortega:do a Goodreads assignment if you wish to recieve an AE for your SSR grades this month (treat it as necessary extra credit); you should also be keeping track of the books you are reading and have read in your notebook-bound "book record" (assignment #23); no immediate homework, make sure you look at the handout on how to receive an AE in her class. Also make sure to have your premises and conclusions of your MA bill in your english notebook.
- Piggot:none
- Rivas: Work on model assembly bill. Next rough draft due at the end of the week. At this point in time you should be getting your bill revised by other people outside of your group/
- Holt:Pg 562-594 (reading hw) and khan academy (magnetism video)
WHAT WE DID:
- Ortega:We read for about 20 minutes when class started after completing a worksheet applying our knowledge of premises and conclusions, after which point we added 5 assignments to our notebooks (A#26-A#30). Then we took notes from Ortega's beloved book on the topic of 'making persuasive arguments handy to us' - particularly in using more than one example to illustrate a point and researching background rates and trends in regards to establishing a viable decision.
- Piggot: We went over the quiz and graded it.
- Rivas: Finish movie, and then work on MA.
- Holt: Finished notes on magnetism, then did a review worksheet. After we did a activity with compasses , and then played kahoot!
GENERAL REMINDERS:
- Holts quiz is 3rd rotation, focus on magnetism, and electromagnetism (especially motors)
