It's raining, so don't forget to dance in the rain a little - given that it's acid rain though, don't forget to do so with an umbrella.
Please also remember to donate change (cash or coins) to your house's decorated donation box as part of HOPE Club's Pennies for Patients fundraiser (ends TOMORROW), benefiting those battling blood cancers like Leukemia and Lymphoma!
Also remember to donate books that might be lying near your fingertips (or at a library willing to give us a batch or two) for Pusong Pinoy Book Drive (ends this Friday), benefiting those less fortunate in the Philippines!
As a suggestion, use a grey-water system and couple of barrels to catch the free water falling from the heavens friends.
Newsroll time:
HOMEWORK (second rotation)
- Ortega: two essay pages done by next week first rotation (2 page minimum, 12pt font, double space)
- Piggott: finish proof worksheet due next rotation
- Rivas: there will be 2 source analyses (#7,8) due this Friday...collegiate debates debut March 2!
- Holt: keep up to date with the material in your textbook readings as we enter a new lesson in the coming weeks...bring your rovers to class by the end of this week so that you may weigh them and conduct calculations with them - in preparation for eventually racing them against each other!
- Senior Project: Research Check #17 this Friday (work on another three sources); our THIRD INTERVIEW and its blog are due by 8 AM this Friday...the blog asking us to analyze our secondary answers to our essential questions will be due the 25th of this month (more time dished out for this deadline)!
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS (second rotation)
- Ortega: After talking a bit more on how to write a coherent thesis, we followed a normal routine for class time spent, with Ortega explaining the iSearch essay that we're going to write and our peers taking the first steps in writing it thereafter (breaking ground on yet another hefty component for senior project). An optional SSR followed for the last 20 minutes of class.
- Pigott: We went over the homework worksheet covering proofs even more so, and then reviewed once again for a bit.
- Holt: We were given a lecture-less block to work on a worksheet requiring us to analyze our rovers, and so apply what we have learned thus far in regards to motion to the motion exhibited by our aspiring machines (their use of force, etc.).
